Even with most of the trees removed due to recent tornado damage, it still provides a decent view of the surrounding areas and contains a few interesting plaques to read.
I drove upon a historical marker and followed it here. What a beautiful serene place this is. You are free to get out and walk around as you please. There are no restrooms. there is a picnic area with a grill. You are able to go up on the memorial and view from above the city below. Absolutely breathtaking I enjoyed this very much. Free of charge
Historic landmark. The rock has been altered over the years and the plaques describing the history and scenery are in need of repair. One looked like it had bullets holes in it. But it's interesting in that it juts out of the prairie and was a meeting place for the Pawnee people. Great views.
5 stars for history, 5 for ease of access, it needs some upkeep. Open since 1906!
